ACTIVIZED Film Screening + Panel with March for Our Lives’ Vikiana Petit-Homme
Thursday, February 27 | 3:30 PM | Room 104, Barnum Hall
Join Tisch College for an exclusive 'preview' screening of ACTIVIZED, a new documentary film launched this year featuring stories of first time activists and civic leaders fighting for immigrant and voting rights and gun violence prevention. The film follows a handful of Americans, including the head of Boston’s chapter of March for Our Lives Vikiana Petit-Homme, who are passionate newcomers to the political arena. They never saw themselves as rabble-rousers or troublemakers, but something in the past two years inspired them to step up, put themselves on the front lines, and defend the American values and democratic institutions they believe are under threat.
The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the film’s award-winning director and producer Eric Stange, executive producer Elise Forbes Tripp, and activist and film subject Vikiana Petit-Homme. This event is sponsored by Tisch College and the Film & Media Studies Program.
