Africa's Population Explodes and What that Cataclysm Means for Africa and the Rest of Us

Tuesday, May 11 | 7 PM ET | Virtual Event

Join the Osher Institute for Lifelong Learning for a conversation with Robert Rotberg, President Emeritus of the World Peace Foundation, former Professor of Political Science at MIT, and former Tufts Academic Vice President. As Africa’s population bomb ignites, Africa’s people and the rest of the world must consider the consequences: civil wars, extremism, hunger, difficult cities, joblessness, migrants, harder tourism, and insistent calls for outside developmental help. Join author and academic Robert Rotberg as he discusses these important issues and trends.

This event is part of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute's OLLI at Night program and is cosponsored by Tisch College.
