Tisch College Distinguished Speaker Series: Dan Pfeiffer

Wednesday, April 21 | 5:30 PM ET | Virtual Event

Join Tisch College for a conversation with political communications strategist, author, and a Pod Save America cohost, Dan Pfeiffer. One of President Barack Obama’s longest-serving advisors, Pfeiffer was White House director of communications under President Obama and later senior advisor to the president. He is credited with breaking new ground utilizing social media to advance President Obama’s agenda, and was a key force in expanding the range of nontraditional venues that the President used to communicate with the public. Along with fellow Obama White House veterans Jon Favreau, Jon Lovett, and Tommy Vietor, Pfeiffer is co-host of the popular progressive podcast Pod Save America. Pfeiffer is also the #1 New York Times bestselling author of Yes We (Still) Can: Politics in the Age of Obama, Twitter and Trump; Un-Trumping America; and Message Box—a newsletter about political and message strategy.

This event is sponsored by Tisch College and the Political Science Department.
