Election 2020: What happened? What’s next?
Wednesday, December 9, 2020 | 6:00-7:30 p.m. ET | Virtual Event
The 2020 election was one for the ages—record turnout, a highly polarized electorate, surging youth activism, and new election procedures like vote-by-mail—conducted in the shadow of a worsening pandemic, persistent economic uncertainty, and a nationwide movement for racial justice. Please join us as we look at what happened and what comes next. This event is for the entire Tufts community—alumni, students, staff, faculty, community members and friends—and will feature leading experts from across the University. Moderated by Tisch College Dean Alan Solomont, the panel will consider the factors that led to the election of Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, what it means for pressing issues like healthcare, climate and foreign policy, and how we move forward together.
