Tisch College Solomont Speaker Series: Peter Beinart - “Antisemitism, U.S.-Israel Relations & the Moral Responsibilities of Power”

Join the Center for the Humanities at Tufts (CHAT) and Tisch College for an engaging conversation with Peter Beinart, CNN political commentator, Editor-at-Large for Jewish Currents and Associate Professor of Journalism & Political Science at City University of New York. The second installment of a year-long series focused on antisemitism, this event will focus on Beinart’s career, politics, foreign policy and the American-Israel relationship. A Rhodes Scholar, Beinart is a Senior Fellow at the Foundation for Middle East Peace, a contributor to the Atlantic, and a Senior Fellow in International Security at the New America Foundation. He previously served as editor of The New Republic and was a senior fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations. Beinart is the author of three critically acclaimed books, including The Crisis of Zionism. He is a graduate of Yale and Oxford Universities.

This event is the second installment of a year-long series of events offered by Tisch College and the Center for the Humanities at Tufts (CHAT) focused on antisemitism. The event is generously cosponsored by the Judaic Studies Program, the Middle Eastern Studies Program and the Fares Center for Eastern Mediterranean Studies
