Tufts Presidential Symposium on Community Partnerships 2023
Wednesday, April 26, 2023 | 8:30 - 11:00 AM | 51 Winthrop Street, Tufts Medford/Somerville Campus
Breakfast and informal networking will be from 8:30am to 9am. The program will begin promptly at 9am ending at 11am.
This year’s theme, Inclusive Democracy in Practice: Co-Creating with Communities, will be an opportunity to engage in conversations with colleagues from diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
The Presidential Symposium brings the university together with local community partners. We learn from each other, share ideas, and build new partnerships and collaborations. This year’s program will expand on and deepen our conversation from last year— A Vision for Multiracial Democracy at Tufts and Beyond. In addition to remarks from President Monaco and Dean Cunningham, there will be a number of short, lightning talks offered by leaders who are tackling structural and institutional barriers. Following these presentations, we will move to table discussions facilitated by community partners, faculty, staff, and students.
