Information for Researchers & Practitioners

Tisch College conducts some of the nation’s leading research on civic and political engagement. We are committed to connecting with other researchers and practitioners in order to share our work, learn from each other, and collaborate on ways to strengthen civic learning and engagement in higher education and in our democracy.

Learn about Our Research

Tisch College is home to three research organizations focusing on distinct but interconnected aspects of civic life: the Center for Information and Research on Civic Learning & Engagement (CIRCLE), the Institute for Democracy & Higher Education (IDHE), and the Tisch College Community Research Center (TCRC). We also play a central role in the emerging academic field of Civic Studies.
