Workshops & Speaker Series
Each semester, a series of workshops and events will be hosted by the GLADi in collaboration and partnership with other offices, centers, and colleges across Tufts campuses. Workshops will include, for instance, trainings on generous listening, dialogue, and restorative practices. Events will include, for instance, speaker series on topical issues and structured dialogues.
These workshops and events will also become platforms for initiating and supporting grassroots efforts on campus, as well as opportunities to advance research and evaluation activities.
Moral Leadership in Action: Stories of Courage and Humanity
Sundays | Nov 15, 2025 to Jan 15, 2026 | Online
This course explores moral exemplars of World War II—individuals who, in moments of profound crisis, chose humanity and moral courage over silence and complicity. Learners will encounter the lives of Oskar Schindler, John Rabe, Minnie Vautrin, Chiune Sugihara, and Pope John XXIII, not as distant historical figures, but as models whose choices continue to inspire moral action today.
