Biography

Megan K. Mueller (she/her/hers) is a developmental scientist who studies the complex and dynamic relationships between people and animals. She received a B.A. in psychology and child development and M.A. and Ph.D. in child study and human development from Tufts University.

Dr. Mueller is an Associate Professor of Human-Animal interaction who directs the Pets and Well-Being Lab. Her research and teaching focus on understanding human-animal interaction across the lifespan using multiple methods. She is a Senior Fellow at Tisch College, and she teaches in the M.S. in Animals and Public Policy program at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
