
Biography
Tania M Mireles is the Director of Student Programs at Tisch College. For 13 years prior to coming to Tisch, Tania directed the Violence Intervention & Prevention Initiative at the Boston Public Health Commission. She has more than 30 years experience - domestically and internationally - in the areas of social justice promotion, community engagement, trauma prevention/recovery and critical hope. She is a Co-Chair of the Community Council of the Massachusetts Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence. Tania received a BA from Harvard University, an MEd from Lesley University’s School of Education and a PhD from Brandeis University’s Heller School of Social Policy.
