The United States is known and respected worldwide for its innovation. But innovation, at its core, relies on failure and a freedom to learn from failure. Ambassador LeVine, the first US Diplomat to speak at a F*ckUp Night, will share how other nations view failure vs. the US and will present the failed starts of many individuals we currently consider successful. She will also tell tales of learning from failure in her own non-linear career. Lunch is provided.

Ambassador LeVine is a senior executive with 30 years of experience leading global companies and organizations across diverse industries and functions, including technology, cybersecurity, government, non-profit, higher education, and more. Currently a Policy Mentor at Brown University and soon an Adjunct Professor at the University of Washington, she serves on the board of Publicis Groupe, a $19 billion global corporation, and is on the Advisory Boards of OpenClassrooms and Syndio. Amb. LeVine has had many leadership roles throughout her career, including U.S. Ambassador to Switzerland and Liechtenstein, Commissioner of the Washington State Employment and Security Department, Acting Assistant Secretary at the U.S. Department of Labor, VP of Sales and Marketing at Expedia, and more.

This event is cosponsored by Tisch College and The Fletcher School.
