Why are stories of women, particularly women from marginalized groups, so underrepresented in the historical record and modern media? Who decides whose story is told, and how? And how many stories have been hidden or lost completely? Half the History (HTH), a digital humanities project co-directed by Tufts professors Julie Dobrow and Jennifer Burton, aims to change this. Join Tisch College for lunch and learn how Half the History curates, archives and shares diverse women's stories through short-form biography, film and podcast...and how students can get involved. Added bonus? Check out the brand new Half the History exhibit now on display in the Barnum Hall lobby gallery. Read about HTH, Julie Dobrow and Jennifer Burton.

Lunch provided. Cosponsored by the Film & Media Studies Program, the Political Science Department, and the Women's, Gender, and Sexuality Studies Program.
