Nancy Marks, Tisch College's community-service learning coordinator at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine, leads art workshops for family members and friends of those suffering addiction’s devastation.
The initiative, which takes place through the end of November, aims to engage the Tufts community with local restaurants and shops in Boston’s Chinatown.
The Community Service Learning program through Tisch College and the School of Medicine offers medical students opportunities for hands-on practice in aspects of health care outside clinics.
Becky Lee’s, M17, passion for treating the medically underserved was fostered by the partnerships she developed while at Tufts University School of Medicine. Her legacy continues as a physician on the Street Team at Boston Healthcare for the Homeless.
