JumboVote

JumboVote is a nonpartisan organization at Tufts University dedicated to promoting civic engagement and voter turnout. JumboVote is affiliated with the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life and the Andrew Goodman Foundation. Our goal is to equip and empower students to participate in our democracy on Election Day and beyond.

We hope to register every eligible student to vote and help them cast their ballot. In addition to voting, we encourage all students, even those that cannot vote in the United States, to participate in their governments and communities. To this end, we provide information about how to contact elected officials, practice activism, and research policy. We partner with other clubs on campus and Tisch College events to spread our resources and reach more students. This year, we are focusing on reaching out to students of color and STEM students, who have historically voted at lower rates.

Join JumboVote as a Democracy Rep

Democracy Reps meet weekly to plan events, create information guides for the website, prepare for collaborations with other student organizations, and brainstorm ideas for future outreach.
