Pre-College Programs

For high school students who want to advance their civic learning and make change in their communities. These programs are specifically designed to serve students in grades 9-12 and are customized to fit a typical high school schedule.

Leadership for Social Change

A two-week summer experience for high school students who are passionate about making a difference in the world and having an impact on local and global issues.

Inquiry Program for High School Students

High school students from across the country participate in a weekend-long global issues simulation and an investigative trip, typically during the winter intersession, to the country or region of interest. Inquiry is part of the Education for Public Inquiry and International Citizenship (EPIIC) program.

Changemakers for Community Impact Program

Boost your career while making a positive impact on your community. The Changemakers for Community Impact Program is designed to foster a human-centered and collaborative approach to driving meaningful change while supporting leadership development and the acquisition of practical applied skills.

Talloires Network of Engaged Universities

Talloires Network of Engaged Universities is a growing global coalition of over 400 university presidents, vice-chancellors and rectors in 78 countries who have publicly committed to strengthening the civic roles and social responsibilities of their institutions.

Institute for Nonprofit Practice

The Institute for Nonprofit Practice is a leadership training organization that equips the most promising nonprofit leaders with the skills, confidence, and resources they need to make their organizations effective, innovative, and sustainable.

Participatory Action Research Course

This one-week online course is appropriate for those planning to conduct research with under-resourced populations, including academic faculty and researchers, postdocs, graduate students, those with research roles in NGOs or public institutions, and undergraduates working on a thesis or other large research project.

Transatlantic Exchange of Civic Educators (TECE)

The Transatlantic Exchange of Civic Educators (TECE), a partnership of Tisch College and the Arbeitskreis deutscher Bildungsstätten, brings together German and U.S.-American extracurricular civic learning professionals to unlock opportunities for mutual learning and reintroduce a transatlantic dimension to the field.
