Hello everyone! My name is Maya Sater and I am a senior from Cambridge, Massachusetts. I am currently one of the Co-Presidents of LCS and have been a member of the E-Board for 2 years now. I love how tight-knit the LCS community is and how passionate we all are about promoting the advancement of both the Tufts community and neighboring communities through active engagement and volunteering!  My favorite restaurant in the Tufts area is Tasty Cafe!

My name is Lindsay Garfinkel. I am a junior studying Computer Science and I am from Rye, New York. I have been on the events committee of the LCS E-Board since my freshman year. Hi! My name is Rachel (she/her) and I am a Senior majoring in International Relations and Civic Studies with a minor in Religion. I am part of the LCS logistics team, and I enjoy being a part of LCS because of all of the sub-groups + projects that we get to support. My favorite restaurant in the Tufts area is Diesel Cafe.

I’m Quinn and I’m graduating in 2025. I’m originally from Vietnam but I recently moved to Florida. I’m part of the events planning team at LCS. I love being involved with our local community in Somerville. My favorite memory with LCS was hosting Halloween on the Hill. It was so fulfilling to host trick-or-treaters on campus and watch kids get excited for Halloween. My favorite restaurant in the Tufts area is Waikiki!

I’m Navah, I’m 20 years old, and I joined LCS’s Treasury Board at the start of my sophomore year. I’m now a junior, class of 2025! I decided to join LCS because I knew I wanted to be part of community service on campus but didn’t know where to get involved. Through our subgroups and the E-boards own events I get to experience many different kinds of service on/off campus. My favorite restaurant in the Tufts area is Foundry on Elm.

Hi, I'm Ishaan, and I'm a sophomore from Bombay, India. I currently serve as the Communications Chair on the E-board. LCS' goal to foster civic engagement through collective action is an idea that really resonates with me, and I think the diversity of service opportunities that it offers to the Tufts community helps foster a sense of togetherness! Hi! I'm Iris Yang, a junior from Newton, Massachusetts majoring in computer science and minoring in studio art and foundations for future leadership. I'm currently the webmaster for LCS and I've been on the board since my sophomore year. Calvin is a Senior Program Administrator at the Tisch College of Civic Life. In his role, he directs the Leadership for Social Change program, oversees the FOCUS pre-orientation program and supports Tisch-affiliated student groups including LCS. He is excited to serve as an LCS Co-Advisor and support the group in developing critical approaches to community service.
