Presidential Team
Ellie Pantekidis, Co-President
Hi! My name is Ellie Pantekidis, and I am a junior from Natick, Massachusetts. I am one of the Co-Presidents for LCS, and I have been involved with this amazing organization since the fall of my first year at Tufts (3 years and counting 🥰)! I love the welcoming LCS family, and I admire the dedication that each member of the organization displays as we meaningfully engage with local communities. Most of all, I appreciate that the mission of LCS brings together so many passionate individuals and has proven to resonate with Tufts students' values for generations. I am also part of Tufts Giving Camp, an LCS subgroup. One fun fact about me is that I love all things Trader Joes and am always looking for recommendations to try from there!

Ishaan Rajiv Rajabali, Co-President
Hi, my name is Ishaan Rajabali, and I’m a junior from Bombay, India! I'm one of LCS' Co-Presidents and have been a member since my sophomore year. LCS' mission to foster community through collective civic engagement is an idea that really resonates with me, and I've learnt so much from our members' commitment to meaningful service! A fun fact about me is that I once swam face-first into an eel 😁

Sarah Feinberg, Vice President
Hi! I’m Sarah, and I'm from Newton, MA. I’m a sophomore and am the Vice President of LCS. I have been involved in LCS since fall of my freshman year and was a service coordinator last year! I joined LCS because of the passionate community we have at Tufts with all of our subgroups, and I love LCS's commitment to engaging in meaningful service and helping local communities. A fun fact about me is that I am a twin!

Matthew O’Connor, Service Coordinator
Hello everyone! My name is Matthew O'Connor (he/him), I am currently a junior majoring in Clinical Psychology and minoring in Child Studies. I am from Peabody MA (a very boring city half an hour north of here). This year I am one of two Service Coordinators, meaning I will assist with planning all of our incredible events. I joined LCS after being an active member in Animal Aid (an LCS subgroup) which inspired me to reach out to our community here in more unique ways. This year I hope to support a variety of events that will benefit a broad range of communities around Tufts! A fun fact about me is that I can do a backwards roll on a beam!
Mehek Vora, Service Coordinator
Hi! My name is Mehek Vora, I am a sophomore from Mumbai, India. I am hoping to major in Psychology and Economics with a minor in Child Studies and Human Development and am serving as one of the service coordinators this year. I am beyond excited to be a part of the LCS team and am looking forward to increasing civic engagement and collaborating with the community of diverse and like-minded people around me! A fun fact about me is I can speak 5 languages!
Alison Mazich, Sub-Group Chair
Hi, my name is Alison Mazich. I am from Sparta, NJ. I am majoring in Biomedical Engineering at Tufts and am part of the Class of 2028. I knew I wanted to be involved in philanthropic work at Tufts, but I wanted to explore all the different organizations on campus, so I joined LCS as a sub-group chair. Being a part of LCS allows me to oversee all the service work carried out on campus and to help them facilitate their various initiatives. A fun fact about me is that I love watching Formula 1!
Alison works with Giving Camp, Habitat for Humanity, Kids in Nutrition, Project Sunshine and Trunk.
Cathy Yao, Sub-Group Chair
Hi everyone! My name is Cathy (with the C), and I am from Jiangsu, China. I am a senior majoring in Math and IR with a minor in either Poli Sci or History. My role on the e-board is the subgroup coordinator/chair. I joined LCS because I was looking for new clubs to join and LCS aligns with my interest in community service <3 A fun fact about me is that I prefer Tamper over Tasty!
Cathy works with ESL, Girl Scouts, LCS Tutors and Strong Women Strong Girls.
Claudia Garfinkel, Sub-Group Chair
Hi everyone! My name is Claudia Garfinkel, and I'm from Rye, NY. I'm a sophomore majoring in Engineering Psychology and minoring in Economics and Entrepreneurship. This is my first year on the LCS E-Board, and I'm so excited to be a Sub-group Chair. A fun fact about me is that I have two golden retrievers!

Helena Teh
My name is Helena, and I’m a freshman from Singapore, majoring in Biology. I'm a Sub-Group chair on the Leonard Carmichael Society’s E-Board! I joined LCS because I am passionate about community service and working with diverse groups through mentoring and volunteering. A fun fact about me is that I love plane watching!

Lindsay Garfinkel, Sub-Group Chair
My name is Lindsay Garfinkel and I am a senior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Child Studies and I am from Rye, NY. I joined LCS because community service was a big part of my life before college and I wanted to find a way to continue that at Tufts! A fun fact about me is that I studied abroad in London!
Lindsay works with ACTION, BRIDGE, CAMI and Food Rescue.

Hi, I'm Eileen! I'm a junior from Connecticut who's currently on the events and planning committee. I've been part of the LCS e-board since my freshman fall semester! A fun fact about me is that my favorite restaurant in the Tufts area is Mr. Crepe!

Hi! My name is Aditi Dosi, and I am a sophomore from Shrewsbury, Massachusetts. I am one of the LCS treasurers, and this is now my second year being involved with the group! My favorite part of LCS is definitely the community. I love the way LCS members support both each other and the local community! A fun fact about me is that my favorite ice-cream flavor is mint chip!

Hello! My name is Serena (she/her) and I'm a senior from Cupertino, CA. This will be my third year on the treasury team of LCS E-board. One of my favorite aspects of being involved with LCS is the dedication all our members have for fostering connections between Tufts and our Medford/Somerville community. A fun fact about me is that I’m at level 1230 in Candy Crush!
Hannah Oshinsky, Sub-Group Treasurer
My name is Hannah and I'm a senior from Rockville, Maryland majoring in Psychology and minoring in Child Studies. I joined LCS as a first year because I am passionate about community engagement and being in LCS was a great way for me to be involved in many different groups and causes across the Tufts campus. A fun fact about me is that I tap dance!

Jonas Apacible, Sub-Group Treasurer
Hey y’all! My name is Jonas Apacible, I’m from Brownsville, Texas, and I am happy to be working with LCS as a Sub-Group Treasurer! I am a freshman looking to study IR and Econ. I joined LCS because I have always had a passion for community service and I want to continue that throughout college. Hi! I'm Maia, a freshman from Boston, MA, and I'm planning on majoring in psychology. This is my first year with the Leonard Carmichael Society, and I am excited to serve on the treasury team. Molly Tamen, Secretary
Hi everyone! My name is Molly, and I am a Junior on the Child Study and Human Development track with an interest in linguistics and fierce passion for creative writing. I have worked with LCS for 2 years (shout out to Giving Camp!), and I am more than excited to continue serving as secretary. It is through our collective efforts, as members of the community, that we can make the greatest difference. Let us shine bright and bring warmth to our patch of world! A fun fact about me is that I have a special notebook for storing fun words and phrases - my current favorite word is spizzerinctum!
Aneeqa Bashir, Alumni Chair
Hello! I’m Aneeqa Bashir, a freshman from Karachi, Pakistan, and the Alumni Chair for the Leonard Carmichael Society. I was drawn to the LCS for its intimate, community-oriented approach to service — one centered in translating intent to impact through cultivating connections and lasting relationships. I look forward to joining a close-knit family that grounds me in our surrounding communities as we actualize our shared visions for change. A fun fact about me is that I’m trilingual in English, French, and Urdu, with plans to learn Spanish by the time I graduate!

My name is Anna Kim and I’m from Dallas. I am in the class of 2028 and am the website coordinator for LCS. I joined because I want to help LCS have a bigger presence at Tufts and in Boston. A fun fact about me is that I love my iced chai lattes with soy milk and a scoop of matcha!

Hi everyone! My name is Maya and I'm from Dallas, TX. I am a first year student studying psychology and community health. This year, I'm on LCS's publicity committee. I love encouraging people to get involved in their communities and exploring meaningful ways to serve, and I am so excited to help further this mission as a part of LCS! A fun fact about me is that I absolutely love dogs (so if you're ever walking one on campus, come say hi ☺️)!

Hi! I'm Mia, a senior at Tufts studying Environmental Studies, Econ, and Entrepreneurship. Growing up in the Philippines, service has always been a big part of my identity; coming to college, I knew that I wanted to make a difference. I have been in LCS since my Freshman year at Tufts because of the wide range and reach of social issues that LCS is able to address. A fun fact about me is that I’m left-handed!

Hello! My name is Gunnar Ivarsson, Class of 2028. I'm from Los Gatos, California. Currently, I am pursuing a double major in Political Science and Civic Studies with a minor in Museums, Memory, and Heritage. This year I am a DEI Chair! A fun fact about me is that I love watching fashion shows. I joined the Leonard Carmichael Society to invoke the most inclusive experience for every community we serve. Hanne Awuletey-Williams
I’m Hanne Awuletey-Williams, a freshman and an international student from Ghana, planning to major in Political Science with a minor in French. In my opinion, meaningful and inclusive civic engagement involves making an impact, promoting equitable access to basic needs, working collaboratively, and considering the community beyond the walls of your home. This belief solidified my interest in joining the Leonard Carmichael Society, as I believe this society embodies these qualities. A fun fact about me is that I have watched ALL seasons of Grey's Anatomy and Law and Order: SVU more than 5 times :)
