2025 Leonard Carmichael Society Day of Service
Volunteers meet at Remis Sculpture Court (Aidekman Arts Center)
Join the Leonard Carmichael Society for LCS Day of Service! The event is from 9:00 am - 2:30 pm, which includes time for breakfast, travel, and reflection. We will be working at the service sites from 10 am - 1 pm. The service sites include community cleanup, environmental sustainability, and disability advocacy.
We are excited and honored to have Cameron Conner as our guest speaker. He is a Visiting Fellow and Professor of Practice at Tufts University’s Tisch College of Civic Life, and has done important work in international disaster relief and healthcare. He has worked within the United Nations to provide housing for refugees in the northern border of Greece. He is also a co-founder of the Conscious Connections Foundation, which is a nonprofit that focuses on education and disaster relief in Nepal.
