Building Robust & Inclusive Democracy

Intellectual Diversity on Law School Campuses

  to
Room 205, Cabot Intercultural Center

It can seem as if free thought is under attack in higher education, as speakers are shouted down over a seeming difference of opinion and students feel frightened to speak out. Why must law schools ensure a wide variety of dispositions and opinions among their student body? This panel, consisting of Associate Dean Kristi Jobson, Chief Admissions Officer at Harvard Law, alongside ideologically opposed students Ben Pontz and Emily Miller, and moderated by Tisch College Dean Dayna Cunningham, will seek to answer just that. Whether you are an aspiring law student or simply interested in the precarious state of free thought on university campuses, this event is a must-see. All are welcome, and food will be served.

This event is presented by the Tufts Federalist Society with support from Tisch College.
