Biography
Pam Coukos is a Visiting Fellow at Tufts University's Jonathan M. Tisch College of Civic Life. Her research and practice asks how organizational structure, practice and culture interact with legal standards and social values to shape opportunity and justice at work. She is also deeply engaged in efforts to better align civil rights and democratic values in a time of institutional retrenchment.
As CEO and co-founder of Working IDEAL, Pam has applied quantitative and qualitative methodologies at scores of private, public and nonprofit organizations to understand and identify barriers to equal opportunity, and to develop metrics to assess progress. Currently, she is co-developing a new model to evaluate organizations and their systems and practices based on principles of just opportunity.
Pam is a member of the Working IDEAL CoLab at Tisch College and is an Adjunct Associate Professor at American University Washington College of Law.
