Biography
Jonathan McTague joined Tufts University in the fall of 2025 as the Director of Development and Alumni Engagement for Tisch College of Civic Life. He brings almost seven years of experience in development and fundraising, specializing in donor relations, alumni engagement, and strategic philanthropy.
Before joining Tufts, Jonathan served as the Senior Director of Advancement Engagement and Annual Giving at Suffolk University, where he focused on cultivating meaningful relationships with donors and driving initiatives that supported institutional growth. His expertise spans annual giving, major gifts, and alumni programs, with a strong commitment to building partnerships that create lasting impact.
Jonathan earned a bachelor’s degree in government and economics and a master’s degree in public administration from Suffolk University, where he developed a deep understanding of public policy, governance, and organizational leadership.
