Biography
Shelie Wells is a Program Administrator for Civic Learning at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. This role aims to ensure that every Cummings School student has a pathway to civic engagement. Shelie is also a licensed elementary and middle school teacher and spent years teaching fifth grade math and ELA. She also helped to prepare future educators as a Professor of Practice, Academic Advisor and Chair of the Educator Department at her alma mater Anna Maria College. She earned her M.Ed. with a Concentration in Curriculum and Instructional Technology from Framingham State University. She loves all animals and resides with her family and three dogs.
