WCVB's CityLine profiles Dee-1, a hip hop artist and inaugural Alan Solomont Artist/Scholar-in-Residence at Tisch College, who teaches students how to include social commentary in hip hop without glorifying violence, misogyny, or drug culture in his class "Hip Hop and Social Change."
At an event co-sponsored by Tisch College, SMFA alum Kim Berman spoked about co-founding a printmaking center in her native South Africa that encourages artists to bring positive change.
Tisch College supported this innovative course through which Tufts students shared food, art, and nutritional advice with members of Boston’s Chinatown community.
